The University of Memphis has started renovations on the Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium, and the latest phase of construction involves tearing down a large part of the stadium, including the historic press box:

The stadium’s capacity will be greatly reduced for this upcoming football season, which starts in two weeks. Renovations are expected to be done in time for the
