A raging house party hosted by a Memphis rapper caused mayhem Saturday night in an exclusive Germantown neighborhood. We will have complete details starting at 7 a.m. on Wake Up Memphis on KWAM. AM 990, 107.9 FM.

Residents described scenes that resembled a war zone – complete with street fights, guns, and hundreds of scantily clad party-goers.

Infuriated residents say they plan to attend the Monday night Board of Alderman meeting at City Hall. That meeting starts at 6 p.m.

“I’m just disgusted to death with the lack of law and order in the city,” one resident said.

The party was purportedly held in a house that had been rented by Memphis rapper Lil Migo.

Video provided to KWAM shows some party-goers wielding firearms. There are also photographs of discarded hair weaves which were purportedly yanked off during street fights.

“They need to take this nonsense back to Memphis,” said one angry resident. “This is unacceptable.”

Concerned citizens reported to KWAM that they saw evidence of illegal drug activity, people pointing guns at each other, underage drinking and street racing – all in Germantown.

“This went on for hours,” one upset resident told KWAM. “Germantown is becoming Memphis.”

The Germantown Police Dept. said they responded to at least 35 calls related to the party on Havenhurst Drive.

There were also a number of calls about chaos in the parking lot of the Kroger on Farmington Lane.

“I unknowingly pulled into Kroger about 10 p.m. and was immediately accosted by lots of fishnet, extra-long eyelashes and spandex bursting at the seams,” one resident wrote on social media.

Party-goers were reportedly boarding buses in the parking lot that took them to the Havenhurst location.

Police say they responded to calls involving “multiple vehicle crashes, two fight calls, traffic complaints and a harassment complaint.”

“Officers are following up on all associated reports and complaints and are working with all city departments to hold those responsible for this disturbance accountable in order to prevent incidents such as this in the future,” the police said in a statement.
