The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning beginning midnight Wednesday night. The biggest problem will be freezing rain and ice. …WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT WEDNESDAY NIGHT
TO MIDNIGHT CST THURSDAY NIGHT…

* WHAT…Heavy mixed precipitation expected. Total ice
accumulations of one quarter to one half of an inch and total
sleet and snow accumulations of less than one inch.

* WHERE…Portions of West Tennessee and East Arkansas.

* WHEN…From midnight Wednesday night to midnight CST Thursday
night.

* IMPACTS…Expect power outages and tree damage due to the ice.
Travel could be impossible. The hazardous conditions could
impact the morning or evening commute.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

If you must travel, keep extra blankets, food, water and a
flashlight in your vehicle in case of an emergency.
