Thousands turned out over the weekend for the annual Bartlett Christmas Parade. A marching band, parade floats and a surprise visit by Santa Claus brought huge cheers from the crowds that lined local roadways.
Winners of this year’s parade competition include:Rivercrest Elementary, Santa Trophy (schools) 1st Place – Ellendale Elementary- 2nd Place, Oak Elementary- 3rd Place, Bon Lin Elementary – Business Trophy – 1st Place, Bartlett Public Works- 2nd Place, Bartlett Police Department, 3rd Place, Fat Larry’s Restaurant- Civic Groups & Churches – 1st Place-Bartlett United Methodist Church, 2nd Place, American Legion- 3rd Place, Ellendale Baptist Church.
