Collierville Police Search for Man who Stole Checks from Church

Collierville police are seeking public help after a man in a minivan was caught on camera stealing checks from a Catholic church.
Major David Townsend with the Collierville Police Department put out the statement Thursday afternoon with a screenshot of the possible suspect.
“Surveillance footage captured this individual who is believed to have stolen checks from the deposit box outside of the Church of the Incarnation,” Townsend wrote.
The thief allegedly attempted to fraudulently cash the checks written to vendors. It is unclear how much was stolen.
