Memphis City Councilman Dr. Jeff Warren, who recently announced he contracted Covid despite being vaccinated and wearing TWO masks, is part of a push to force you to wear a mask, too.
The City Council unanimously passed a resolution urging the unelected officials at the Shelby County Health Department to reinstate a mask mandate. The resolution, which carries no authority, also requests help from other governing bodies, urging the Shelby County and City of Memphis Administrations to “do what is in their power to aid in the effort of reinstating a mask mandate.”
The vote comes on the heels of the latest Health Department Directive, which does not mandate masks at this time.
