GUNFIRE ON BEALE! Man in Critical Condition After Downtown Shooting

Gunfire erupted at a popular tourist destination in downtown Memphis early Sunday morning. We will have complete details on “Wake Up Memphis with Tim Van Horn” starting at 6 a.m. Monday.
Memphis Police say a man was found with gunshot wounds on B.B. King Boulevard and Beale Street. The shooting happened around 3:30 a.m.
A man has been listed in critical condition after officers responded to a shooting call on B.B. King Boulevard and Beale Street Sunday morning.
Meanwhile, citizens fear the crime wave will explode once newly-elected District Attorney Steve Mulroy takes office. Mulroy is a proponent of going easy on criminals.
“This is what happens when you have a city controlled for decades by ‘Defund the Police’ Democrats,” said national radio host Todd Starnes. His show airs in Memphis on KWAM from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Monday – Friday. “Memphis will remain a war-torn city until the Memphis are unleashed and allowed to do their jobs.”
