It was another violent weekend in Memphis, and the city is now on track for its deadliest year yet.
Here’s a list of some of the crimes committed over the past few days:- A man was killed in Whitehaven Friday night. Douglas Edwards is under arrest and charged with second-degree murder.
At 10:25 pm, officers responded to a shooting at 4838 Manson Road. One unresponsive male was located suffering from multiple GSWs. The male victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
No suspect info was given.

- Another man was assaulted and transported to the hospital in critical condition.
At 2:32 pm, officers responded to a wounding call at 5960 Summer Ave.
A male was assaulted by several subjects and was bleeding. He was transported to ROH in critical condition.

- In Whitehaven, a man was shot in a cemetery and taken to the hospital in critical condition.
- Early Sunday morning, a crash at Coleman Rd. and Hoover in Raleigh revealed the passenger had been shot and killed and the driver had been shot as well.
At 3:31 am, officers responded to a shooting at 4968 Ridge Trail. One male shooting victim was deceased on the scene, and a female shooting victim was also located at ROH. She was transported by private vehicle and is listed as non-critical.
