- Shelby County schools won’t be reporting school-specific coronavirus stats. Shelby County Health Department Director Alisa Haushalter says that “We don’t want to breach the privacy of any child and create issues with stigma.”
- Operation Legend continues, and the United States Attorney for the Western District of Tennessee says they don’t need special permission for federal investigators to operate in Memphis. The operation aims to help crime in the area.
- Violence in the Bluff City continues to surge. Memphis Police responded to at least four different shootings last night.
- Missing Kansas woman Marilane Carter’s vehicle was found in Arkansas, and the deceased female body inside appears to be a match. The sheriff’s department says it believes the woman died of carbon monoxide poisoning. No foul play is suspected.
