Tenn Lawmakers React to Trump Inauguration: ‘Welcome Back Mr. President’

Reactions from across the state are rolling in after President Trump took the oath of office for a second time Monday.

Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN), who campaigned with President Trump, took to social media, writing: “We have officially entered the Golden Age of America.”

Sen. Bill Hagerty celebrated Trump’s long list of executive orders, aimed at securing the border and making America energy dominant again.

“Within just minutes of taking office, President Trump is already making huge strides to undo all of the damage done by the Biden Administration. Thank you, Mr. President!” Hagerty wrote on “X.”

Rep. David Kustoff (R-West Tenn) released a statement congratulating President Trump’s win.

“I look forward to working with President Trump and his administration, as well as my colleagues in Congress, to deliver for families, farms, and businesses across West Tennessee and the nation. Together, we will unleash American energy, secure our border, crack down on crime, reinvigorate our economy, and restore our standing on the world stage. It is time to get to work,” Kustoff wrote.
