An elderly supporter of State Rep. John DeBerry was accosted by the campaign manager of his opponent, Torrey Harris. And the entire incident was captured on video.

Theryn Bond defended her rude behavior on Facebook — saying the DeBerry campaign volunteer was trying to block a sign for Harris.

Harris is a radical progressive who could be one of the first LGBT lawmakers elected to the state house. He has the endorsement of the LGBT Victory Fund.

DeBerry, who has represented the district for 26 years as a Democrat, was removed from the party because of his support of the pro-life movement. He is running for re-election as an Independent.

Critics lit up Facebook blasting the campaign manager for disrespecting an elderly man.

“She’s wrong for speaking to that elderly man like that. That was very disrespectful and rude of her,” one citizen wrote.

“Lord Lord Lord. She must had /have disrespectful parents or had no parenting at all,” another Memphian wrote. “First and foremost the elderly gentleman was was very nice and respectful I dare her to disrespect him like that.Thank God he not my father that all I can say about that. For her she picked the right person father, grandfather or uncle because my family will be all up in her ass.”
