Kyle Rittenhouse To Speak at University of Memphis

Kyle Rittenhouse is coming to the University of Memphis later this month.

U of M student group Turning Point USA invited Rittenhouse to speak on March 20 at 7 p.m.

“I look forward to coming out to Memphis and seeing you all there,” Rittenhouse wrote on “X.”

Rittenhouse was acquitted in August 2020 for a killing two men and wounding a third during a Black Lives Matter riot in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

The jury found that he was acting in self-defense.

“I went to Kenosha to help my community–not become a whipping boy in the national debate. In less than three minutes, the direction of my life was horribly altered when I was forced to defend myself with deadly force,” Rittenhouse wrote in a new book.
