According to a hotly disputed census map, some Arlington residents reside in Fayette (not Shelby) County. One political candidate, one Shelby County Commissioner, and possibly even one Mayor are impacted by this cartographic catastrophe.
District 99 State Representative candidate Lee Mills joined “Wake Up Memphis” to explain how he had to go to court on his own dime to prove he has (and has always) been a Shelby County resident his current address. Mills gave his thoughts on whether he believes this revelation of a decades-old map was a political ploy & whether his wife (and current Shelby County Commissioner) Amber Mills will be impacted in her re-election campaign.
