A grassy field is being transformed into an area of tribute to those who died due to 9/11 attacks.  The Healing Field will feature over 500 flags on eight-foot staffs arranged in perfect rows.  National Exchange Club’s CEO Tracey Edwards and Exchange Club Healing Field Coordinator Don Wright joined Wake Up Memphis to promote awareness of this awe-inspiring field.

The field will be located on Riverside Drive near the Visitors’ Center.  In addition to 9/11 itself, it is especially timely due to recent events in Afghanistan.  The Healing Field is free to the public beginning Wednesday, September 8.
