Miss Tristar Volunteer Lydia Fisher is headed to DC to honor those who have served our country
Fisher will lay a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier over President’s Day Weekend.“I am so humbled to have this opportunity to a lay wreath just like many inspiring individuals and dignitaries have had the chance to do, and I am eager to honor our veterans, my state, and the Shelby County Veterans Treatment Court,” she said.
She added: “As the granddaughter of an Army Paratrooper and niece of a former Captain and Dentist for the US Army, this hits close to home in more ways than one.”
