Miss Tristar Volunteer Lydia Fisher is headed to DC to honor those who have served our country

Fisher will lay a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier over President’s Day Weekend.May be an image of text that says 'Be apart of history! “I am so humbled to have this opportunity to a lay wreath just like many inspiring individuals and dignitaries have had the chance to do, and I am eager to honor our veterans, my state, and the Shelby County Veterans Treatment Court,” she said.

Fisher partnered up with the Shelby County Veterans Court Foundation to fundraise for the trip. You can donate here. 

She added: “As the granddaughter of an Army Paratrooper and niece of a former Captain and Dentist for the US Army, this hits close to home in more ways than one.”
