Moms from both sides of the political aisle are battling over solutions in regard to the rise in gun violence in Shelby County.
The anti-gun group “Moms Demand Action” took to the suburbs in Collierville, demanding Tennessee Republicans tighten existing gun laws and add news ones.
On the other side, those opposed to stricter gun laws include the local Moms for Liberty chapter, and they’re speaking out on what they believe the real issue is.Kristin New, Vice Chair for the Shelby County Moms for Liberty, joined KWAM’s “Wake Up Memphis” and said it’s a heart problem and not a gun problem.
