  • Tennessee Representative Steve Cohen had some searing comments about the National Guard’s presence in Washington D.C., saying that the mostly white male guards might “do something” to Joe Biden during his inauguration week.

 

  • Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson and their Secretary of Health Dr. Jose R. Romero received their first doses of the coronavirus vaccine yesterday. The state has distributed over 118,000 doses so far, and they’ve moved onto the 1 B stage of vaccine distribution on Monday, so now people over the age of 70, teachers, and many others can get the vaccine.

 

  • 21-year-old Tevin Willingham has been charged with second-degree murder, aggravated assault and reckless driving after shooting his father in the face during an argument Monday afternoon at a Fox Meadows home. The suspect was arrested miles away after crashing his father’s car.
