Rev. Keith Norman from First Baptist Church Broad Avenue told “Wake Up Memphis” that there are a handful of Memphis mayoral candidates to keep an eye on.
“There’s no heavyweight in the ring,” Norman told KWAM. “Everybody is sparring and they’re saying the same thing, crime is the number one issue, but nobody is laying out a real clear platform.”
He listed Van Turner, Floyd Bonner, Michelle McKissack, Karen Camper, Willie Herenton, and Paul Young as candidates in the mix, and he shared reasons why each one could be the next mayor of Memphis.
