Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) will be campaigning in the Mid-South for Dr. Manny Sethi, an orthopedic surgeon who is running for the U.S. Senate seat being vacated by Sen. Lamar Alexander.

“Primaries are a time for choosing. Too many times the Washington swamp tries to trick voters into choosing their preferred candidate,” Cruz said during a recent campaign appearance in Middle Tennessee. “We need conservative fighters in the US Senate that will stand up for our values and that is why I’m endorsing Dr. Manny Sethi for United States Senate.”

Sethi, a rock-solid conservative, is running against former Ambassador Bill Hagerty. Hagerty has the backing of President Trump and Sen. Marsha Blackburn.

HAGERTY HAS TIES TO ROMNEY

However, Hagerty has come under fire in recent days because of his close ties with Establishment Republicans like Mitt Romney and Jeb Bush.

Meanwhile, Sethi has RECEIVED massive support across the state from grassroots conservatives as well as national conservatives like talk radio host Mark Levin.

Even beloved Christian music artist Michael W. Smith also endorsed the political newcomer.

“As a believer, I know the importance of having faithful leaders representing us. Dr. Manny came to Christ as a young man, and he has been serving the Lord as a trauma surgeon ever since. He will be a strong Christian leader in the Senate,” Smith said.

Sethi, who has made numerous appearances on KWAM will be a guest on “Wake Up Memphis With Robyn Walensky.”

Hagerty has declined numerous invitations to appear on KWAM.
