Rep. Mark White (R-TN) joined KWAM in the wake of the news that a “Satan Club” is joining a local Cordova elementary school.
On one hand, proponents argue that legally the school must allow all clubs to participate. However, he pointed out that these clubs are targetting “innocent” young minds.
“That’s the law, it doesn’t mean that it’s good for our children,” he told “Wake Up Memphis.”READ MORE: WTH! Cordova Grade School to Host Satan Club
The congressman also emphasized parents being involved in their children’s education.
“You have got to spend time with them and teach them the difference between good and evil,” Rep. White said.
